Who are we?

KAM PRODUCTIONS began selling their artwork and apparel in the spring in 2016.

Keith Mosher is the artist and owner of kam productions. He began his career as an artist after graduating from Shepherd College in Shepherdstown, WV with a BFA degree, and a concentration in photography. Keith worked full time as a photographer for 17 years, before making the transition to designing and printing apparel.

Karlin Maull, Keith's wife, is also a graduate of Shepherd College, in Elementary Education. She taught 5th grade for 17 years before joining the kam productions team full time in 2019.

The Boys - our top employees can often be seen with us restocking at our retail locations or helping us at events.

When did silk screening begin?

Keith has always had a strong connection to Native American spirituality. He participates in ceremonies locally and in South Dakota. With this strong connection, he has always wanted a native american style hand drum. In 2015, just as he was about to purchase one, his wife said, " I bet you could make one." Keith researched making drums, and how to process the rawhide, and has since made and sold rawhide hand drums. But he wanted to print his own artwork on the rawhide. After some research and developing a technique, he found a way to print his designs on the rawhide with silkscreens. This lead to the eventual transition to t-shirts and other apparel.

Additional information.

All designs are created by Keith, as well as printed, one at a time, by hand. He used traditional silk screening methods with water based inks.

Besides selling online, kam productions can often be found at  beer and wine festivals, craft and art shows, as well as other street festivals.
